Meet Yasmine, the visionary founder behind our beloved bilingual preschool, a French English preschool in Astoria, NY, committed to providing young learners with an enriching language and early education experience.

It all began with a simple yet profound need: Yasmine's desire to enroll her son in a bilingual educational environment. Yet, despite her exhaustive search, she found herself hitting dead ends. The concept of a preschool that seamlessly integrated language immersion and comprehensive early childhood education was scarce, if not entirely absent.

Rather than accept defeat, Yasmine saw this as an opportunity to innovate and fill a crucial gap in her community. At Les Etoiles, we believe that everything is language, no matter your native tongue. Whether it’s a smile, a hug, art, dance, or music. At Les Etoiles, our mission is to provide a warm and nurturing learning environment for all students, from two years old to age five, in a bilingual setting. We are committed to fostering and raising socially conscious bilingual leaders. At our school, we make it our everyday duty to celebrate diversity, so our students may grow with confidence. Our diverse staff mirrors our student population, creating special bonds between the two. Through the modeling of our teachers and our curriculum, our students develop empathy and love for one another. They are empowered and encouraged to let their voices be heard.
